My old author landing page had a few quirks that aren't apparent at first glance - unused Javascript, complicated setup, etc.
For better maintainability, I created Author v2! In addition to the previous Author landing page, I added:
- Cleaner, more modern styles
- Remove unused JavaScript from 3rd party libraries
- Improved, auto-generated SEO
- Fixed a few accessibility bugs
- Simplified static blog generation using the newest version of Hugo
This website is still completely free, including the blog! There's no need for a clunky CMS for small websites. Static websites are extremely fast, scalable, and work for you, instead of against you.
